A very nice book on slippers...felted slippers with knitted and some embroidered designs. I think I will make some for Christmas presents.This is the type of book that will be used again and again. I have show it to members of my knitting group and they all liked it and
thought is was worth the purchase. The instructions and photographs are charming and instructional. Easy enough for a beginning
knitter too.
Thank you, Arne & Carlos for this classic book on slippers what are truely "practical" and range from cute (Rabbit slippers") to exotic.

Love Arne & Carlos; have already finished my first pair of slippers and started the second.
Lots of great slipper knitting/felting patterns here. I am working on a pair now. I love to work with the natural wool an my cat loves it too. I find her laying on my yarn.
What little girl or big for that matter wouldn't want the cute pony slippers!!! The patterns are fun, and vibrant and appealing . I can't wait to get started on a pair .
So much fun. Watch their YouTube video to pick up a couple tips that might have been lost in translation,
I.e. Knitting with two strand, picking up edge stitches, and count double strands as one stitch while knitting.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I would give it a 5/5 star rating for the book's graphics...that's one of the reasons I bought this book. But I really wanted a pattern book with some great felted slippers...I bought the yarn, a set of circular needles, and launched into knitting the pattern with the high ankle style. BIG MISTAKE! After I got to the heel, everything went to heck in a handbag...after ripping out the entire hours of work, I tried to make the initial lower cut pattern...I have ripped that apart already three times, and am not making any progress...my sister, who is a very experienced knitter has had difficulty also...I would love for Arne and Carlos to rewrite the patterns so that they are complete and understandable...there a gaps in the patterns, with the possible assumption that you know intuitively what those gaps are. I REALLY want to make some of these slippers, but I am totally frustrated...
