I read this book via an -US KINDLE Unlimited download.
I can’t believe the luck I had playing the POWERBALL Lottery game recently. Although I DIDN’T WIN as usual on any of the five games I’d played on one ticket. [I always do a QUICK PICK simple because I never hit a single number when I pick my own numbers.] Well on this night on one of the five QUICK PICK games I’d played had each of five numbers I’d received had been only one digit off, causing me to lose winning ONE MILLION DOLLARS. I just sat there, dumbfounded, thinking of what it would have been like to actually have won this prize; and as I was dreaming about this happening, I recalled seeing this book while I’d been reading another one of this author’s books.
“So, You Won the Lottery” is collection of about 100 cartoons drawn by the author which has its readers taking a rather imaginative look at people and the possibly quirky, impractical things people might wind up doing if overnight they’ve become super-wealthy from a one-dollar lottery ticket. And if you can picture yourself doing a handful of things depicted in these cartoon, you’ll be laughing even more, the way I did, which is why I’ve given 5 STARS for his endeavor here.
I liked the comics but the seem a bit repetitive when compiled in a book. Viewing them over time is probably best. Harrop is generally a good choice so I'd select something of his again.
